The 16th season of Diamond League is underway, since the Athletics Olympic stars build their opportunity in World Glory in 2025, with live coverage in the BBC.
The series sees the athletes compite by points in 32 disciplines in 14 meetings in an attempt to qualify for the two -day two -day winners in Zurich in August.
That takes almost a fortnight before the start of the World Athletics Championship in Tokyo, Japan, in September.
It is also the first year in which the Diamond League must compete with the new Grand Slam track by Michael Johnson for athletes.
However, there is a bone just a direct clash between the two competitions, with the Miami Slam in 2-4 May to have tasks located at the same time as the match in Keqiao, China, on May 3.
The Diamond League has increased its award in money at the highest level in its history, with a total award of $ 9.24 million (£ 6.95 million) in sacross the series.
That includes $ 500,000 (£ 375,000) in each of the 14 series meetings and $ 2.2 million (£ 1.7 million) in the Diamond League final.
BBC Sport has agreed an agreement to transmit the Diamond League over the next five years.
