Growing up in a very conservative household, I faced rejection at the most vulnerable stage of my life. When I came out, I was expelled from my church, cut off from friends, and disowned by my parents. With no support system, I had to start over completely on my own.
I earned a scholarship to attend college but had little to no resources. To survive, I worked part-time and often stretched every dollar so far that some days my only meal was popcorn. In those years, loneliness was heavy, and there were many nights where I struggled with thoughts of self-harm.

β¨ Building a New Life
After graduating, my world began to open. I secured an internship in Italy, built a career with global companies, and eventually moved to the U.S., where Iβve now lived for almost a decade.
Meeting David, my husband, was another turning point. He helped me understand that I didnβt need to hide who I was. For the first time, I felt proud to be myself openly and fully.

π Who I Am Today
Today, I live knowing I am enough. My journey from rejection to self-acceptance shapes everything I do. Iβve learned that resilience is built in the hardest moments, and that love whether through music, community, or the right person can help you discover your worth again.
