6 things we think we know about the 2025 NFL Draft

It is a week until the NFL draft and we begin to obtain a clearer image of what could happen on Thursday. Predicting the first round is always a plot of fools, since something obviously exploits everything we think, but that is what stopped us compiling the information we are listening to.

Among the reports of public media, and what we have heard behind the scene, these are the elements of the first round that Think We know as we approach the draft,

More field marshal will go in the first of what you think

During most of this process, the assumption was that Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders would go in the top 10, and then it would be a long wait to direct the name of another QB called. That has changed more or less in the last week.

Jaxson Dart had floated a lot as the first round, but Jalen Milroe joined and, potentially, even Tyler Shegh in Louisville, who could sneak into the back-end of the first round with a necessary QB team.

This is not a great kind of QB, but despair leads to unpredictable things, so do not surprise if we see that four quartbacks get tasks in the first round.

The passes runners will master the first round

2024 was the year of the First Round Field Marshal. Three pins, Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels and Drake Maye, left the board in that order to start the first round. Three more quartbacks joined them in JJ McCarthy, Bo Nix and Michael Penix Jr., marking a new record for the position.

This year it will be about the players in charge of saying goodbye on Sundays.

While the field Marshal group has some questions beyond Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders, Pass Ruster is a very deep and talented group, with potentially seven or more edges that leave the board the first night of the draft. Abdul Carter is probably a selection of the first three, and there is a serious rumor about Jalon Walker leaving the board within the first five teams, perhaps to the New England patriots at number 4.

Those are not the only corridors of mocked passes inside the first round. Mykel Williams of Georgia, Texas A&M Stewart Stewart, Marshall Mike Green, James Pearce Jr. De Tennessee and Donovan Ezeiraku by Boston College are also popular selections in the first round.

Nic Scourton of Texas A&M could also sneak into the first 32 selections.

Wait to listen to many passes runners leaving the board the first night of the NFL 2025 draft.

Carolina at number 8 could be a pivot point for the draft

The main need of the Panthers is the help of pass, and it seems more and more likely that Carolina can miss Jalen Walker in number 8, pushing them to the second apron of passes corridors.

Your choice turns out to be just before the saints of New Orleans necessary of QB, which love So that Shedeur Sanders (possible even Jaxson Dart) is there in his choice. This leads to a great possibility that some try to jump to Carolina’s selection to get a QB, with Steelers as a team to look, or enhanced, even some like giants make a great movement.

The players’ commercial market is quiet … too silent

At this time there is not much rumor about veterans who exchange, and that makes him feel like something really pop on the night of Draft. The players to see here would be the Bengals of Trey Hendrickson, the Dolphins CB Jalen Ramsey and a wildcard in the Vkingos WR Jordan Addison.

These are three players who would attract a lot of interest from the right team if the board does not break how a team expected.
