Actress Molly Ringwald threw a little shadow into John Hughes Classic The breakfast club For the 40th anniversary of cinema, calling it “very white” and not representative of today’s world.

Appearing at the 40th anniversary meeting of the film that made it worldwide famous, Ringwald and all the original cast members joined for the first time in four decades at the Pop C2E2 Culture Convention in Chicago last Saturday. While mood was generally nostalgic, Ringwald injected some modern policies into the mixture.

“Personally, I don’t believe in remakeing that movie, because I think this movie is much of its time,” Ringwald said.

“It resonates with people today,” he continued. “I believe in making films inspired by other films, but they build on it and represent what is happening today. This is very, you know, it is very white, this movie. You do not see many different ethnicities. I do not realize. I do not represent our world today.”

Ringwald concluded that you should like the most “inspired movies ‘The Breakfast Club’, but take it in a different direction. “

While other members of the cast agreed that the film should not be remaked, they felt that the strong emphasis of the film would have a costume time found in modern Hollywood.

“Today’s films are conceptual behaviors, they are not conducting characters, and John’s beauty is that he focused on the characters,” said actor Emilio Estévez. “And when you think about trying to launch this film today, they are about five children sitting in a library, all day in arrest, and then the studio executives would go and say, where are the monsters? Where are the persecutions of the car” “” “” “” “” “” “” “” “” “” “” “” “” “” “” “” “” “” “” “” “”

“It is also important to remember that we made this film for $ 1 million, whose time was still a lot of money, but according to universal standards it was not; it was not considered a great giant committee film as they do today,” thisez continued. “So there was a lot of risk involved, but according to today’s standards, this movie, I don’t think, would ever be done.”

As Breitbart News profiled in the past, Ringwald has criticized his work in films such as The breakfast club. John Nolte previously delivered a refutation against some of his arguments. Hey:

The objective of the film Is it that under these unpleasant archetypes there is a complete person, someone worth knowing, maybe someone you could approach?

For example, we learn that in the background, Claire is not a snob prison and tense. She is simply a behavior in the way her friends and parents expect to behave.

Ringwald has also criticized some of the situations Sixteen candles.

“At that time I was only vaguely aware of how inappropriate it was much of John’s writing, given my limited experience and what was consulted normal at that time. I was in my thirty years before stopping consulting verbally abusive men plus more satural men more
