West Bengal Governor, National Commission for Women delegation visit violence-hit Murshidabad

The governor of Western Bengala, CV Ananda Bose, visited the district of Murshidab shattered and interacted with the affected people, including the relatives of the father and son duo were killed, duration of recent violence.

A delegation from the National Women’s Commission (NCW) also visited Murshidabad and said he will submit his report to the center.

The protests against the WAQF (amendment) law became a longer duration of violence from April 11 to 12 in the Murshidabad district dominated by the Muslims, where three people were killed and several other wounds.

Chandan Das and his father Hargobind Das were killed to death by a mafia in the town of Jafrabad in Shamsherganj. Shamsheranj, Dhulian and Suti witnessed generalized violence in the district during the protests against the WAQF (amendment) law.

“I will look for in your requests. There are three or four suggestions. They have requested permanent publications of BSF in the place. I will get the matter with the appropriate authorities. Some proactive actions will definitely be tasks. Cleaning),” Bose told journalists after visiting the residence of the deceased residence and his son and will interact with family members.

The governor also spoke with the locals in the Dhulian Bazar area. “I asked them (the victims) who feel free to talk to me. They want justice and will get justice,” he said.

Searched refuge

On Friday, Bose visited Malda and interacted with the people who sought refuge there after the episode of violence in the Murshidabad district.

The teams of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) and NCW also visited Malda Relief Fields to meet the victims. The ruling Trinamool Congress criticized the visits of the Governor and NHRC and NCW teams, and claimed that they aimed to enliven the tension in the already volatile region.

“More than 10,000 Hindus have fled the Murshidabad district after violence. This violence was previously planned. While Mamata Banerjee and his police handle matters in Western Bengal, Hindus will have their homes,” said Adhikari.

The leaders of the Trinamool Congress have accused the BJP of politics the issue for the benefit of their part.

The main minister, Mamata Banerjee, described on Wednesday the violence in Murshidabad as “previously planned” and claimed that the border security force (BSF) and other central agencies are facilitating the cross -border influx of Bangladesh to create the State in the state state.

Going to a meeting of Muslim religious leaders, Banerjee, the supreme of the Trinamool Congress, said that if Bangladesh’s “external” elements were involved in violence in Murshidabad, then the central government proposed responsibility.
