Illegal Alien Indicted for Allegedly Smuggling Teen Girl into U.S.

An illegal foreigner from Guatemala has been accused of his alleged role in smuggling from a teenager to the country and “inducing her” to say that she was her sister.

The suspect in the case is identified as Juan Tiul XI, 26, while the victim is a 14 -year -old girl who is also from Guatemala, Fox News reported Saturday.

In a press release on Friday, the Office of Public Affairs of the United States Department of Justice (DOJ) said that a Federal Grand Jury accused the suspect, who allegedly entered the administration of former President Joe Bides (d) of the United States.

Tiul XI is also accused of submitting a sponsorship application with false statements to the refugee resettlement office of the Department of Health and Human (ORR) to obtain the girl’s custody once she entered the country.

The agency continued:

According to the accusation, Juan Tiul XI, 26, a Guatemalan citizen who illegally resides in Cleveland, illegally entered the United States in the United States. As UAC, the Guatemalan girl was placed under the care and custody of Orr. As he claimed, Tiul XI declared himself falsely in the documents submitted to Orr when he asked the sponsor and obtained the custody of the girl who was the UAC’s brother and that his alias was the real name. Orr was based on the alleged false statements of Tiul XI when, around September 5, 2023, Orr released the UAC to Tiul Xis Care.

The authorities have accused him of a single charge of encouraging or inducing illegal entry for financial gain, a position to make a false, fictitious or fraudulent statement, and a position of aggravated identity theft.

In a statement about the case, the United States Attorney, Pamela Bondi, criticized Biden border policies that harm innumerable people.

Bondi said:

The border policies of the previous administrations created an environment that allowed human trafficking and allowed bad actors to take advantage of children at risk. We are committed to protecting the children from the scourge of human trafficking and we will not rest until we gave justice to those who suffered the border crisis.

“They are sitting in the rear seat, while 10.5 million illegal foreigners reached this border, entered this country illegally, which is a violation of the law,” Homan added.
