Justin Thomas had an incredible start this week at the RBC Heritage while shooting a 10 bass 61, tied for the course record in Harbor Town, to take the opening leadership. While also hero the leadership after Friday’s action, if Woo Kim jumped on Saturday to go to Sunday as the absolute leader. So it is Midhomas Trails Kim (-15) for a stroke.
Thomas can still become the first player in the PGA Tour to win this season after leading the first round, but as he pointed out that he has some work cut for him. It is strange to be true since I was 10 years after 18 holes.
As noted, Thomas 61 was tied for the course record in Hilton Head and a day after he shot him, the world discovered that he actually has at least one piece of 9 records of total courses. Think about that!
As you can see, Thomas 61 in Harbor Town is on the list, as well as the 62 that had at TPC Sawgras at the beginning of the players this season. Erin Hills and Winged Foot are also listed … These are not informal courses that JT has his name hung on the wall inside the Club house.
This is an incredible list, whatever happens, but it is logical that it will mean more for JT if you can get away as the winner of the tournament on Sunday.
