Welcome to the Draft Week.
You may feel that you have done it, dear reader, but there are still some miles to run until we reach the finish line. But we can do it together.
Here is a look at the last rumors around the NFL 2025 draft.
Jaxson Dart: A first round QB with a third round grade?
As we have discussed extensively in these rumors of rumors prior to the draft, the history of the quartbacks that push themselves to the first round is longhyhy. Jaxson Dart, Tyler Shegh and Jalen Milroe are the last passersby on that list, and the three are discussed as possible first round QB on Thursday night.
Most of the Buzz focuses on Dart, the Mississippi pin that continues to appear in the first round in simulated drafts. The last drill he has Dart in the first round comes from Tyler Dragon, who has the leg covering the league to USA today For years. Dragon has Dart leaving the board with the final selection in the first round, while New York giants are negotiated again in the first to select Mississippi QB.
However, it is important to remember the difference between being a first round selection and having a first round qualification. Talk to the explorers and learn that for most teams, around 15 players have a real first round rating. But with 32 selections on Thursday night, some players without a first round qualification will leave the board.
That is especially true for Quarterbacks, given the need in position. And according to some of the rumors around Dart, that will be the case if chosen in the first round. According to ESPN reporter Jeremy Fowler, while Dart could leave the board in the first 15 teams, many teams have a second or third qualification in it.
“There is a lot of intrigue and buzz around Jaxson Dart,” Fowler said on Sunday Sports center “The Saints have done many tasks in this particular field marshal. And the Steelers also have a strong qualification in it. Therefore, someone could make a movement in Dart Justo although many teams have a second or third qualification.”
This also occurs when Dart’s name was eliminated from the list of players who would attend the draft this week.
Patriots concentrate on Will Campbell
While the exact order has not yet been determined, the consensus argues that the three best selections will be Miami QB CAM WARD, Colorado CB/WR Travis Hunter Jr. and Penn State Abdul Carter. It remains to be seen if Hunter leaves the board secondly to the Cleveland Browns, or if it is a carter.
Now it seems that the stars are being aligned for the quarter part.
In his telephone conference prior to Friday’s draft, Daniel Jeremiah of the NFL Network joined the choir of analysts who pointed to the New England Patriots that wrote the offensive liner of LSU Will Campbell in that place.
“With the Patriots, I have only listened to the offensive Tackle, and I continually heard that it is the place of Will Campbell,” Jeremiah said.
“Therefore, it is not universal around the league, but the feeling of talking with people is that Will Campbell is very dear inside the building in New England,” added NFL Network analyst.
We are coming to put the Jacksonville Jaguars on the clock, at least in theory.
A surprise selection at number 6 could alter the plans of the jets
Ashton Jeacty who leaves the board to the Las Vegas Raiders in number 6 is one of the selections you see in simulated drafts that seems to be in stone. In fact, the general manager of the Raiders, John Spytek, fueled those flames last week. Speech The AtléticoSpytek talked about the importance of the runners, and pointed out what the Philadelphia Eagles did last season after adding Saquon Barkley.
“I’m going to be careful to talk about any specific player, but more widely to the corridor’s question: we just saw Saquon Barkley change the Eagles in a year,” Spytek said when talking with The Atlético. “Now, they had a great team around them and added an elite player. And I think where we sat down, the idea is to add elite players in any position. I do not try to devalue any position …” I can’t do it, I can’t “can’t” I can’t “run” the runners “are valuable.”
With Jeantty leaving the board on the No. 6, most simulated drafts make New York Jets take the best offensive liner available, or Missouri Armand Memand Membou.
But what happens if the Raiders surprise everyone and take an offensive liner, maybe Membou, in number 6?
That is the rumor discussed by the Jets Insider Rich Cimini or ESPNWho pointed out the closed wing of Penn State, Tyler Warren, or Texas Kelvin Banks Jr. Tackle, as options at number 7 if the Raiders picked it up to Membou ahead of the jets.
Cimini has often pointed to the wing closed as a position of need of airplanes, which a window could also think in New York:
#Jets Pepitas draft:
They have selected 5 wings closed in the first round in the era of common drafts (since 1967), most of any team. More recently: Dustin Keller, 2008.
Is the number 6 on the horizon?
Certainly, Tyler Warren has to be considered with the seventh selection. It is a great need and …

Is Atlanta a compensation candidate?
The majority of simulated drafts make Atlanta’s falcones remain at number 15 and add a passes corridor, given their need on the edge and depth of that
Position in this eraser class. However, if you observe the order of the current draft, the adolescent medium could see a race in pass runners.
After Atlanta at number 15, there are two other teams: Arizona at number 16 and Cincinnati in number 17, that could add passes in those places.
Could that open to the Falcons who exchange teams with the hope of obtaining a passes corridor and jumping in front of Arizona and Cincinnati? That is the idea floated by Draft ESPN analyst Jordan Reid, as well as the privileged information of Sportskeeda, Tony Pauline. As Pauline points out:
“I have mentioned several times that I think that the Arizona cardinals, who have the selection no. 16, could be a point of inflammation for a team that moves to jump in front of the Cincinnati Bengals and the Draft corridor,” Pauline wrote at the end of last week. “However, people believe that Atlanta Falcons, the team that selects just before the cardinals could be the ones that Spot Saltan teams.
Teams that could ascend for a passes corridor? Teams such as Baltimore, Detroit and Washington are often linked to simulated draft pass corridors.
