Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) said Sunday in “Meet The Press” of NBC that Governor Gavin Newsom (D-CA) does not serve to lead if he could not defend the right of due process on the case of Kilmar Abrego García.
Host Kristen Welker said: “Let me ask her about the reaction of the Democratic Party, while some Democrats support him, others say that this is not the problem in which the Democrats should be focused. Governor García Case ‘distributes’ that he is distributed by calling Mr. The Mr. argues that the Democrats are playing directly in the hands of President Trump.
Van Hollen said: “I don’t think it’s wrong for the Constitution. And it is not a man. If he denies the constitutional rights of a man, he threatens constitutional rights for all.”
Maryland’s Democratic legislator concluded: “I think Americans are tired of elected officials or politicians who are in the wind … Anyone who cannot defend the constitution and the right of due process cannot lead.”
