One day closer, dear readers.
Monday brings the beginning of a new work week and brings us closer to the NFL 2025 draft. This is the time of the Draft cycle when the rumors really start up, so we do not waste time.
Could a team change to number 2 for Shedeur Sanders?
The more we approach the draft, the greater the rumors.
Perhaps the biggest rumor that emerges in the east of Sunday came from Mike Florio or Soccer talk.
That a team could exchange number 2 with the Cleveland Browns and the selected field marshal Sheders.
“And then he is the craziest we have heard in recent days. At least one experienced and talented evaluator, there is the possibility that someone changes to number 2 to obtain Sanders,” Florio wrote.
Our own Jared Mueller also addressed that rumor, writing in Dawgs by nature That such movement would be an “unlikely possibility.” Many believe that Sanders is more likely to slide deeply into the first round that a team exchanges until it. 2 for him.
While it may seem that the Sanders stock is falling, the Colorado Campo Marshal has support in the League. According to ESPN’s draft, Jordan Reid, a general manager assistant told Reid that they were impressed with Sanders “” Field behavior. “
Now, this could be the same person, that is also possible. But remember: only one team is needed to fall in love with a player.
Commanders who look wide receptors
The Washington commanders are building around the second year field marshal Jayden Daniels and already made several key additions on the offensive side of football in free agency.
But it seems that they have not finished adding weapons for their talented young pin.
According to Tony Pauline, the commanders seek to add an open receiver or two of this kind of draft. While Washington changed to Debo Samuel, and this season out of season, which could be an ideal match for Kingsbury offensive, Luke McCaffrey, is under contract with the commanders beyond 2025.
Pauline mentions Maryland WR Tai Felton as an option for commanders.
What can be complicated for Washington and General Manager Adam Peters to navigate is the great gap between his second selection (Selection 29 in the second round, 61 in general) and his third selection (selection 26 in the fourth round, election 128 in general). Does Washington seek to close that gap through an exchange, to add a receiver at some point in the third? Or will they stay at 61 and choose the receiver they like?
Should Derrick Harmon simply buy a house in Pittsburgh already?
Last week we highlight a rumor prior to the Draft that involved the Pittsburgh Steelers, which linked Oregon Derrick Harmon’s defensive Tackle with the team. According to Radio Andrew Fillipponi presenter, the Oregon DT has become the “clear favorite” for the team in the first round:
Source: Derrick Harmon has become the “clear favorite” to be the selection of the first round of the Steelers. Quote: “He is the total package.” Art Rooney II has expressed a lot about the steel that are directed to D-Line. Something that did not happen in free agency. Stay tuned. pic.twitter.com/kuifelaip

Now another NFL inmate has added his voice to the choir.
Write in The Washington PostThe NFL informant Jason Lacanfora also connected Harmon with the Steelers. Lacanfora transmitted a Harmon analysis of an NFL evaluator, who said “[Harmon] It adapts to any defense you want to execute if you know what you are doing. “
Certainly it seems that there is a lot of smoke in this pairing.
It is also to note that Gerry Dulac in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette On Saturday he wrote that while the team has a first round qualification in Jaxson Dart and “likes” Sanders, taking a field marshal in No. 21 is “unlikely.”
Could the Jaguars surprise everyone?
Adam Schefter column on Monday in ESPN+ (Subscription is required) It is filled with fascinating Bits of Intel prior to the draft.
One of them involves the Jacksonville Jaguars. Conventional wisdom argues that the Jaguars will write the defensive Tackle of Michigan Mason Graham with the fifth selection. But Schefter transmits this message from a league executive: “Jacksonville is a wild card – look.”
Who could choose the Jaguars in that place? Schefter mentions Arizona’s open receiver, Tetaira McMillan, who has ESPN Insider has made comparisons with Mike Evans. That could be the player’s son that Jacksonville’s new chief coach, Liam Coen, who trained Evans last year in Tampa Bay, was to build his new Jaguars offensive.
A surprise team to see Ashton Jeanty
Again of the Schefter column, ESPN’s privileged information lists a surprise team to see Ashton Jeanty.
The Chicago Bears.
“There are multiple people who believe that bears pray for Jeanty to slip into no. 10,” writes Schefter. “They think that the new Bears coach, Ben Johnson, could introduce Jeanty and D’O -Andre Swift as a two -headed duo as the lions did with David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs when Johnson was Detroit’s offensive coordinator.”
What Chicago does in Johnson’s first draft with the Bears will be fascinating to see. The idea that Johnson will push Ryan Poles to build an offensive similar to what he had in Detroit makes a lot of sense, and when you look at the Bears’s options at number 10, the offensive line and the closed wing also stand out.
But the value of the Jeffs sacrifices could be too difficult to miss if it slides to the no. 10.
Trade candidates to see
In another bit or ESPN+ Content, the Draft Analyst Matt Miller identified three teams that could be looking to trade on Thursday night: two teams that seek to move down and a team that seeks to advance.
According to Miller, the Carolina Panthers and the Vikings of Minnesota seek to move down. Carolina, a team linked to open receptors and passes runners, is looking to add more selections on day 2 of the draft given the depth in those two position groups. The Panthers currently have nine draft selections, including two in the fourth round and three in the fifth round, but they only have number 57 and number 74 on day 2.
The other compensation candidate? The Vikings of Minnesota. Kwesi adofo-mensah has only four selections to work: one in the first round (no. 24), one in the third round (No. 97), one in the fifth round (No. 139) and another in the sixth round (No. 187). Minnesota would love more selections through an exchange if possible, and no. 24 It could be a good place for a team that approaches the writing of a field marshal.
As for a team that seeks to ascend, not for a field marshal, Miller lists Kansas City chiefs like that team. With a need along the offensive line, Miller believes that the chiefs would move up if they like slides on the board.
The ESPN analyst takes advantage of the Houston Texans at number 25 and Los Angeles Rams at number 26 as possible commercial partners with the Chiefs.
