Connecticut Sun sign two sharpshooters ahead of 2025 WNBA season

The Connecticut Sun announced Monday that Guard Madison Hayes and striker Morgan Mally have signed training camp contracts.

Madison Hayes has just completed a solid postgraduate season in the state of North Carolina, in which he averaged the best 10.9 points of the race and 7.1 rebounds per game. He led the Wolfpack in rebounds per game, as well as total offensive rebounds (71), three -point percentage (41.3%) and percentage of free throws (81.9%). Hayes helped Wolfpack two accused seasonal titles (2022, 2025), a tournament crown of the ACCT conference (2022) and an appearance at the Final Four NCAA in 2024.

Morgan Maly, meanwhile, joins the sun after a five -year race at Creighton University. Guard 6-1 averaged the best 17.3 points of the race, as well as 5.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game in its senior season. He also fired 42.7 % beyond the three -point line.

Maly is the leader of all Creighton’s time in played games (150) and three -point -made field goals (333). It is also the second of all time in annotations (2,072) and sixth of all time in rebounds (801). He helped take the Bluejays to four consecutive literas in the NCAA tournament, including the programs of the first appearance at the NCAA Elite Eight in 2022.

The Connecticut Sun currently has 21 players on the list of their training field

In addition to Hayes and Maly, that list includes:

  • Guard Abbey Hsu, an outstanding one from Columbia University who was recruited by the team in 2024
  • Amy Okonkwo
  • Kamila Borkowska Center, which comes from Poland
  • Centro Kariaata Dieby de Cote d’Effioir
  • Forward Anesah Morrow, the Sun number 7 draft selection in 2025, from LSU
  • Guard Saniya Rivers, the selection of the Draft number 8 of the Sun in 2025, of the state of North Carolina
  • Rayah Marshall forward center, the 25th selection of the Sun from the USC of the 2025 Draft
  • Veteran Guard Diamond Deshields, who signed with the sun in the free agency
  • Guard Marina Mabrey, who returns for a second season in Connecticut
  • The Jacy Sheldon Guard, whom Sun acquired through the Dallas wings trade
  • The striker Mya Hollingshed, who was recruited in 2022 by Las Vegas Aces, but has not yet played in the WNBA
  • Olivia Nelson -ododa Center, who returns for a fourth season in Connecticut
  • Guard Yvonne Anderson, who previously played for the Sun in 2022
  • Guard Lindsay Allen, whom Sun acquired through the Chicago sky trade
  • Center of the Tina Charles Hall
  • French guard Leila Lacan, whom the sun selected the tenth place in general in the 2024 WNBA Draft
  • Caitlin Bickle striker, a second year striker who returns
  • Front Guard Haley Peters
  • ROBYN PARKS FRONT

Of the 21 players, 12 will make the final list of the sun.
