The Transfer Portal for Women’s University Basketball closes on Wednesday. Postgraduate transfers can still enter the portal at any time, but any other player who enters the portal after April 23, except for a change of training, will have to stay out a season or request an exemption from the NCAA.

Once a player is in the thought of the portal, there is no deadline to commit to a new school. Some players already have one leg on the transfer portal during the week. It could take them for a while to find a different program in sport. More than 1,400 players have entered the portal this season.

Some players have already landed with their team of the future. The best player in the portal, unquestionably, is Milaysia Fulwiley of South Carolina. The Second Electric year Guard with an approval agreement with the Under Armor Curry brand is still a free agent.

Beyond Fulwiley, there are still many other talented players in the portal looking for new houses.

Gianna Buineckens

Serah Williams

Perhaps the best true post player who dates back to the portal, the 6-feet Williams 4 was the great defensive player of the year for the 2023-24 season in Wisconsin and was also a selection of twice in the team of all time.
