As the resident of the Dallas Cowboys in the SB nation, I often find myself at the situations asking me how I got there. That happened to me again on Wednesday.
While cowboys have many rivals, basically all human beings on the Internet, in modern times, would say that the Green Bay Packers are at the top of that list. They are responsible for some of my memories of sausages in terms of sports.
Do you guess who could talk to Clay Matthews on Wednesday, did you think?
In all Serianssress, Clay Matthews was an incredible defender in NFL. He had an incredible career that saw him the Super Bowl XLV (in the home construction of the cowboys no less) and continues to have incredible associations with companies related to or around the league.
You can see our entire conversation below.
Clay was Jovial about the fact that I cover the cowboys and simply sacrificed some ideas about the way they are in these days, but obviously I had to think about the Packers with the beginning of the NFL draft on Thursday and the green.
Matthews said the Packers have a lot of pieces that are very exciting and expressed a lot of confidence and belief in Jordan Love and the rest of the offense. He said it would be good to see them add a defensive star thought, although it is obviously a bit partial to that side of the ball.
Our simulated community draft here on SB Nation made the Packers take Texas A&M Edge Shemar Stewart. I would certainly say this fits that invoice.
Among the other things that Clay and I discussed were his association with Lowe’s and how they are why he is in Green Bay specifically for the draft.
Clay joined Lowe’s, Lowe’s has designed the green room of the draft built by Lowe’s for the NFL 2025 draft, a room where the next wave of NFL stars will experience comfort, sophistication and a sense of celebration before being called. The green room in this year’s draft built by Lowe’s embraces a refined rustic aesthetic, reflective inspired by a luxury cigarettes room. NFL fans can go to Lowes.com to buy the same products used in Draft Green Room built by Lowe’s, the official partner of NFL home improvements after the draft, Lowe’s will donate the products to habitat for Humanity International.
Our thanks to Clay and Lowe’s for the time!
