President Donald J. Trump issued a solemn proclamation that marked the days of memory of the victims of the Holocaust, honoring the memory of six million killed Jews, while abruptly rebuked “leftist universities, anti -American and resurgence.
On Wednesday, the day of the memory of the Holocaust, the White House published A proclamation signed by President Trump designates this week as a time for Americans to reflect on Holocaust and commit to fight against hatred. The statement occurs following the rhetoric anti -Jewish and violence in the United States, especially after the terrorist attack of October 7 of Hamas against Israel.

“We honor the blessed memories of the six million Jewish men, women and children were brutally killed by the genocidal Nazi regime and their collaborators,” Trump said, while recognizing Oshher’s victims.
“We also remember the Romani and Sinti, villages of Eslava and Polish ancestry, people with disabilities, Soviet prisoners, Jehovah’s Witnesses, people attacked based on their sexual orientation and innumerable others that he declared.”
He highlighted the lasting relevance of this story amid current events, stating: “The poison of anti -Semitism still exists tragically.”
The president emphasized the importance of the education of the Holocaust and the testimony of survivors, pointing out the 80th anniversary of Auschwitz’s liberation earlier this year.
“Duration in these days of memory of the victims of the Holocaust, once we honor all the survivors of the Holocaust who has taught their wisdom to the younger generations,” he said. “Today and every day, we commit ourselves to preserve their stories.”
He also stressed the role of the United States in the support of the Jewish people and the modern state of Israel, which “came out of the ashes” of the Holocaust.

In response to anti -Semitic incidents in the American soil, President Trump reaffirmed the commitment of his administration to protect American Jews. Citing a new executive order, he ordered the Federal Government to take advantage of “all available and appropriate legal tools” against discrimination and anti -Semitic harassment, including immigration consequences for foreign citizens who incite hate.
The proclamation also directly criticized the “schools and universities of leftists and anti -Americans” as centers of non -controlled anti -Semitic feeling, promising rapid investigations and the application against such behavior. The movement is aligned with broader conservative conerns on the increase in intolerance and radical activism on campus.

“We declare that it never means now,” the president concluded, while asking Americans to mark the alinic of “appropriate study, prayers and commemoration” and to make sure that the Holocaust memory remembers a guide and justice force, vigil and vigil.
The proclamation occurs when the anti -American and Antiisraeli leftist activism has emerged in the university campuses throughout the country, feeding a climate of anti -Semitism and leaving Jewish students fearing for their safety.
