The Cleveland Browns made a trip to the first night of the NFL draft.
As if having a selection among the top five did not create enough interest, the Browns decided to reward their season ticket holders bringing a trip for a concert at Huntington Bank Field before the selections were.
Brent Rossi, the Browns marketing director, said the conversations about doing beyond the usual draft party began at the end of last season, when the Browns finished 3-14 and secured their Draft Top 10 team since he returned in 1999.
In a third -party survey, the Browns found that the three best rock bands of seasonal ticket holders were LED Zeppelin, Rolling Stones and Journey.
Since then, it is not hope of another Zeppelin meeting and the stones played in Cleveland last year, the option ended up being Journey.
“When you have the opportunity to marry one of the events of the NFL store with a band like Journey, it was obvious to us in something we wanted to do for the members of the season, especially showing so much loyalty about the latest expectations of Did’aar Laar Laar Laar,” Rossi said.
It is not the first time that an NFL team tries to bring a great act for the dress. The Los Angeles Chargers had Snoop Dogg at the Sofi stadium in 2022 duration the first round.
Seasonal ticket holders received free tickets that match the number of seats in their account. The Browns said the final assistance was 25,081.
The fans were tail in the parking lots before the concert began.
Cleveland also had a first round selection for the first time since 2021. They sent three first round selections to Houston in the Deshaun Watson trade and signed it with a massive contract in what is in rhythm to become one of the worst exchanges in the history of NFL.
The trip arrived at 6:45 pm and was expected to play for 90 minutes, ending its set just before the Browns were supposed to go to the clock with the second selection. Cleveland, however, made an exchange with Jacksonville and went down three places to the fifth along with adding selections in the second and fourth round and the first round of the Jaguars in 2026.

The Browns have joined the city’s rock heritage in recent seasons, including a guitarist in the DAWG Pound Bleacher section.
Last year, the team honored Rock Hall’s class to convert a game. The foreigner, who was induced that weekend, acted halfway.
