At least one person was killed and another 11 were injured in a massive shooting in a popular tourist area of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Saturday night.
The authorities said the officers “observed a disturbance that involved multiple individuals” around 11:50 pm on the North Ocean Boulevard, and a person began to shoot a weapon.
Then, an officer responded by opening fire, and in the process, he shot a person, who died from his wounds, according to the police.
The shooting occurred near Ripley’s Belie It or not only outside the beach.
The dramatic video that circulates on social networks shows a person lying face down on the sidewalk that is being restricted by two officers.
You can see a woman grabbing her leg and shouting while two officers seem to help her.
“I remember having heard shots of shooting simply starting to leave everywhere,” Michael Howard told ABC 15. “I remember seeing a girl who had been a girl, I remember seeing the guy who had been falling to the ground.
“I saw blood everywhere. It was very traumatic,” he added.
