London Marathon 2025 breaks world record for most finishers

“The London marathon was already the most popular in terms of voting inputs, with 840,318 people who requested the 2025 race,” he said.

“It is also the annual annual fundraising event of one day of the world with more than £ 1.3 billion raised for Charity Spray 1981”.

The number of people requesting the ticket to enter this year’s race broke the world record of 578,304 for the 2024 edition.

If the applicants from the United Kingdom 49% were women, while there was a 105% increase in the requests of people between 20 and 29 years.

Tigst Tigst of Ethiopia was watching the victory in the women’s elite race in a world record for a single female field, while Sebastian Sawe of Kenya triumphed in the male event.

He was a double Swiss in the wheelchair races per second year, since Catherine Debrunner broke her own course record in the women’s race and Marcel Hug broke into her seventh victory in man.

On Saturday, more than 15000 young people competed in the Mini Marathon in London, which makes it the largest since the event began in 1986.
