BBC Sport has also launched a new podcast on BBC Sounds, the Couch To 5K podcast, presented by Giovanna Fletcher.
In the first episodes, Fletcher joins the BBC Radio 2 Jo Whiley presenter, the Tiktok Charley Marlowe and Lindsey Burrow star, the widow of Rugby Rob’s legend.
Fletcher said: “Being part of the Couch to 5K podcast has been a joy. Running can do wonders for his mind and body, and this podcast has to do with the support of the offer, motivation and voice of a friend to keep him underway, regardless of where you are Juus Jare.”
Deputy Ashley Dalton, Minister of Public Health and Prevention, said: “As part of our plan for change, we are committed to the poor health of prevention before it begins, including breakdown barriers to exercise and make the nation in shape.
“The NHS Couch to 5K application is a brilliant example of this: it offers exactly what we all need: support, encouragement and a friendly voice in each step.”
Whiley, who presents in episode one of the new podcast, once he did not like to run, but now he is a coach to 5K application.
“It’s one of the best things I’ve done in my career: 100%,” When said.
“I have a leg in so many different festivals where there are a variety of people in all shapes and sizes and skills of fitness and say” Couch to 5k! My life has changed! “
The first episode of the Couch to 5K podcast is available on BBC Sounds now. Other episodes will be launched weekly from May 5.
