The success Eduan produced a last stage of assault to help Great Britain claim gold in the 4x100m female in the World Relay Championship in Guangzhou, China.

Eduan passed to Sherickka Jackson and Maria Pérez de Jamaica, or Spain, in the final stretch, since a GB team also consists of Nia Wedderburn-Goodison, Amy Hunt and Bianca Williams won in 42.21 seconds.

Spain ended second in 42.28 and a quartet of Jamaica, which included former world and Olympic champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pyce, were third with 42.33.

“I didn’t think too much about [the] Others, I only knew that if I cool everything, it would go well, “Eduan said.

“I have a winner’s mentality, I don’t care if Sherickka or Shelly-Ann, respect for them, run. I’m going to give my everything and I’m going to pass them and I’m going to win. And we did.”

Great Britain also won a bronze in the inaugural race of 4x100m mixed, with Asha Philip, Kissiwaa Mensah, Jeriel Quainao and Joe Ferguson finishing in 40.88 seconds.

Canada won the race at 40.30, just ahead of Jamaica at 40.44, while the United States won the mixed 4x400m with a record time of three minutes championship, 09.54 seconds.

South Africa won the 4x100m male gold in 37.61 seconds, but there was a drama since Jamaica could not reserve his place in the event in the 2025 world championship in Tokyo, Japan.

Having dropped a baton duration on Saturday, they didn’t have a second chance to qualify through Sunday’s heats.

The first two in their heat would have secured a place in Tokyo, but Julian Forte stopped in the second leg when they could not finish.

Jamaica can still claim one of the two skilled places that are granted based on the world classification.

South Africa also won the 4x400m of men with a time or 2: 57.50, while Spain won the 4x400m female in 3: 24.13.
