The body of the EPFO Retirement Fund said on Saturday that he delivered appointment letters to 976 new recruits in the 15th mela rozgar on Saturday.
The organization of the Employee Precision Fund (EPFO), under the Ministry of Labor and Employment, participated in the 15th edition of the Mela Rozgar held on Saturday in 47 locations throughout the country, said a statement from the Ministry of Labor.
The event, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi through videoconference, saw the distribution or around 51,000 appointment letters for newly induced young people in several government departments, including EPFO.
As part of this important recruitment campaign, EPFO welcomes the new recruits to strengthen their workforce, ensuring efficient services or social security services to millions of subscribers throughout India, the ministry said.
On Saturday, appointment letters were issued to 345 Account Officials/Compliance Officials and 631 Social Security Assistants.
EPFO has established a vertical recruitment in the central office to guarantee regular recruitments and developed a recruitment calendar that complies with the directors of the Minister of Labor and Employment of the Union, Mansukh Mandaviya.
Duration The last year, EPFO recruited 159 commissioners attending forecasting funds, 84 Junior Translation Officers, 28 tachygraphs and 2,674 SSA, among others. More recruitments are being made, the ministry said.
