Google de Alphabet has launched a new film production and television production initiative called “100 zeros” to focus on identifying projects that the technological giant can help finance or produce, Business Insider reported on Monday.
The initiative is an association of several years with Media Partners Range, a talents firm and a production company known for its work in movies, including “a complete unknown” and “Longlegs”, according to the report.
Google sees the project as a way of making the creative community adopt its new technological products and services, such as its artificial intelligence products and tools, such as the immersive view function that allows users to see things in 3D, according to the report.
Google did not immediately respond to a request for Reuters comments.
The social media platform focused on cinema and entertainment lists 100 zeros as one of the producers of the 2024 horror film “Cuckoo”. 100 zeros had put some marketing dollars behind the film, said Business Insider.
