The number of wounded of an explosion on Saturday in a port in southern Iran jumped to 281, the Irna news agency reported.
Irna cited Mojtaba Khaledi, spokesman for the National Emergency Organization of Iran, as giving the figure.
The explosion occurred in the port of Rajahei on the outskirts of Bandar Abbas, an important installation for container shipments for the Islamic Republic that manages about 80 million tons (72.5 million metric tons) or goods per year.

Hasanzadeh said the explosion came from containers in the port of Rajahei in the city, without elaborating. State TV also reported that a collapse of the building caused by the explosion had one leg, although there were no other immediate details.
The port of Rajaei is 1,050 kilometers from the capital of Southeast or Iran, Tehran, in the hormuz narrow, the narrow mouth of the Persian Gulf through which 20 percent of all passes quoted in oil.
The explosion occurred as Iran and the United States with Saturday in Oman for the third round of negotiations on the nuclear program that advances quickly from Tehran.
