The passenger dock proposes near the entrance door of India, which will be developed by the Maritime Board of Maharashtra, has encountered bad weather due to the opposition of the locals that see it as an environmental danger and a threat to the patrimonial sites.

As local residents close the ranks against the ₹ 229-Rore project, they have recovered the support of politicians in all the lines of the party, they thought that the state government has tried to calm their concerns and insisted on the jetty-terminal.

The entrance door of India in Colaba, one of Mumbai’s illustrious milestones, is a center for Ferry traffic, which takes the daily services to the Elephanta caves, a place of popular tourist and Aldea de Mandwa, which serves as an entrance door to Alibaug, a gatebaug, to Gatebaug, to Gateboug, to Gatebaug, to Gatebaug, to Gatebaug, to Gatebaug, to Gatebaug, to Gatebaug, to Gatebaug Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa a a gatatagaugaugaugaugaugaophagugaugaugaugaophaophagugaugaugaugaugaugaugaugaugaugaugauaugaugauga

The dock and the proposed terminal, which will be located near the Radio Club, about 500 meters from the Indian gateway, is claimed as an environmental danger and a threat to the heritage structures located in the vicinity of the locals, which the locals have, which have the Tetero Collenium of Colen, Collenium, Collenium of Colen, Colenio Colen.

President of the State Assembly and Local BJP MLA Rahul Narwekar, Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha Mp Milind Deora, South Mumbai Lok Sabha Mp Arvind Sawant (SHIV SENA-UBT), leader of the Samajwadi party, resident and OWER.

It is likely that it will be complete in two years, the project is expected to reduce all boat traffic from the Indian gateway, reduce the existing congestion and update the old facilities.

The jetty (structure built in water and used by people to climb and leave the boats) will have the ability to accommodate up to 20 ships at the same time, allowing its luminous operations.

The terminal building will have a personal capacity amphitheater of 350, a beating jetty, an approach jetty, a fire safety system and CCTV in addition to the gardening and beautification work.

The main vice minister, Ajit Pawar, who owns the finance portfolio, cleared the roofs for the project and assigned ₹ 229 million rupees in the budget for 2025-26.

The Minister of Ports, Nitesh Rane, held the opening ceremony on March 14.

As the project progressed, local residents put themselves in arms. Through letters, meetings and an online petition, protesters asked the MMB authorities to stop all the work and demand that the project moved to some location in the south of Mumbai, including near the princess’s dock, Ferry Muelle or Ballard estate.

Due to the protests, a barge platform configured for the construction of the jetty has been eliminated.

“The proposed jetty near the gateway of India has sparked wide spred Group citizens, Environmentalists and Heritage Conservationists. This Project, if I implement, Will disrupt the delicate balance of collaba’s cultural and social tyony, red -Turremento, Red -And -turremento, reduce, reduce, reduce, reduce, reduce, reduce, reduce, reduce, reduce, reduce, reduce, reduce, reduce, reduce, reduce, reduce, reduce, reduce, reduce, reduce Reduce, reduce, reduce, reduce, reduce, reduce, reduce, reduce.

The project was a threat to heritage, Lobo said.

Patrimonial sites face a wide range of threats, including natural disasters, sea level increase, extreme climatic events and climate change due to global warming. If they build pillars as part of the project drilling or flying the sea bed, it will have a harmful effect, he warned.

“We are already facing bad traffic on the heritage site. The entrance door of India is a monument site. Tourists come to see the monument and (near) of the Taj hotel. We can move to other places that have a good infrastructure, the lobe maintained.

The president of Chcra, Subhash Motwani, said that Colaba residents are not against development, but growth has to occur responsible.

The permits given by several agencies for the project have several lagoons. Colaba is a congested area that faces problems such as illegal street vendors and double parking along the roads, without leaving virtualy there is no room for pedestrians, he said.

“The permits were given under political pressure without mental application. If you are honest and sincere with your permits, share them with us, take the interested parties in confidence. After a double parking on the roads, now the attempt is 800 dangers and manipulations with nature,” Motwani emphasized.

Residents will try to explain to the government how the Jetty-Cum terminal building will announce impact the area, he said, adding that “if we do not get a positive response, we will explore legal options.” The vice president of Chcra, Pervez Cooper, said that the proposed jetty will be a serious security risk for the area where the infrastructure has deteriorated and that he saw 26/11 terrorist attacks.

The Port Minister, Rane, said that the Proponing Embarcadero was the ambitious project of CM Devendra Fadnavis and that his department has obtained all the necessary permits.

The government did its land work, including the completion of a study on the impact of the project, before moving forward, he said, adding that “we are an elected government and people should trust us.” The minister said that almost 35 Lakh of people visit the entrance door of India, a British -ira monument and tourist sites around him every year. “

“The jetty should be used by common citizens. Almost 20 yachts can be parked in the jetty, in addition to 150 cars.
