India’s space economy is expected to grow at $ 44 billion by 2033, with the aim of capturing 8 percent of the estimated global space economy of $ 1.8 billion by 2035. This growth will be driven by satellite services, deep space missions and space space.

Startup Sator Labs has the objectives of the growing demand for Earth’s observation (EO) services through its double -band thermal image satellites, and address a critical gap in the availability of high -resolution thermal data in real time from space.

Applications range from climate monitoring to defense surveillance for national and global markets.

Fused ideas

Shravan Bhati, co -founder and CEO of Sateo Labs, says that the emblematic innovation of the company is a constellation of lowland orbit satellites (Leo) equipped with double -band dual band loads, which combine) and wave wave wave wave wave wave Long wave wave) and long wave) and long wave wave) and long wave wave) and long wave) and long wave) and long wave) and long wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave.

“We are not only throwing satellites, we are building a layer of intelligence for the planet,” he says.

Unlike conventional EO systems, sateo satellites can detect tiny temperature variations and process data on board using edge computing, he explains. Real -time fusion of thermal and visible data fed by AI/mL algorithms: Petitions for precise analysis adapted for sectors such as agriculture, urban planning, climate compliance and national safety.

Sateo has obtained $ 25 million in letters of intention (LOI) of organizations in sectors such as agriculture, urban governance and environmental monitoring.

“There is a massive demand for real -time thermal intelligence, and our platform is built to satisfy that urgency,” says Bhati, emphasizing the value of products in the context of climate change and conerns sustainability.

Business Model

The business is based on the Analytics-AA-Service model, which offers subscription-based access to EO Fuses sets, application programming interfaces (API) and custom panels. As the STIS satellite fleet grows, Sateo plans to expand services to include custom customer image windows.

“No other Indian startup is building thermal and dedicated satellites with this level of fidelity. We believe that this is the time of India to lead thermal intelligence,” says Bhati.

As the world dealt with climate urgency, Sateo’s innovation could help cities, farms and governments to obtain the upper part of the hand, with ideas of space functioning, he says.
