The launch of electrical ambulances (electronic ambulances) under the revolution of Prime Minister Electric Drive in the innovative vehicle improvement scheme (PM E-Drive) could take more time, since only three business force engines, Maruti Suzuki. And Tata Motors-

The scheme began in September last year, but it has not yet advanced in the leg, since companies have not yet launched vehicles.

The Government has assigned ₹ 500 million rupees for this particular segment under the scheme. Maruti Suzuki MD and CEO, Hisashi Takeuchi, recently said that the company is making the vehicle and will take more time to launch it.

“We are starting (to manufacture) … it is difficult to give a timeline, but we are currently working on this project,” Hisashi Takeuchi, managing director and executive director, told Msil. Commercial.

The consultations sent to Force Motors and Tata Motors Elicaron without response to the time of going to the press.

According to the sources of the Ministry of Heavias (MHI), Force Motors was the first company to show interest in participating in the scheme, and had just promised to launch an electronic ambulance for March this year.

However, due to the delay in the launch of the vehicles, the MHI has not yet notified the guidelines for subsidies under the Drive PM scheme. The MHI has now also included hybrid ambulances in the same scheme, which would sacrifice subsidies and demand incentives to promote adoption.

Of the total disbursement of ₹ 10,900 million rupees of the PM electronic conduction scheme, the government has reserved ₹ 500 million rupees for the deployment of electronic ambulances.

The MHI is working with other minisdies, such as health and road transport, to finish the performance and safety guidelines for electronic ambulances.

“We are not pressing much for the guidelines for electronic ambulances because there is still no vehicle made. There is still no homologation or any vehicle (of agencies such as Arai or ICAT), everything is under process,” said a senior MHI official.

The PM E-Drive scheme was launched to admit electrical mobility through support for 14,028 e-Buses, 2.05,392 E-3 wheels (L5), 1.10.596 e-Rickshaws and E-Carts, and 24,79,120 wheels E2. In addition, E-Trucks, the scheme also admits electronic ambulances, EV public load stations and the update of the test agencies.
