Indian Pepsico has constantly expand its manufacturing capacity of snacks in India. The company is planning to establish a snack plant in Mannacherai in Tamil Nadu. Earlier this month, the State Corporation for Industrial Promotion of Tamil Nadu (SIPCOT) has assigned 27.96 acres from land to Pepsico in the Industrial Park to establish a snack plant.

In 2023, the company announced the creation of a plant in Assam with an investment of ₹ 778 million rupees. It is likely that this works in operation in 2025 or early 2026.
