PM Modi cuts short Saudi visit after deadly Kashmir terror attack

Prime Minister Narendra Modi interrupted his two -day state visit to Saudi Arabia after a terrorist attack in the pahalgama of Jammu and Kashmir that killed 26 people, mostly tourists.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi left for India on Tuesday night after shortening his two -day visit to Saudi Arabia following the mortal terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir.

Originally, Modi was scheduled to return to New Delhi on Wednesday night.

“PM @narendramodi concludes its state visit to Saudi Arabia and has been located for India,” said the Ministry of External Affairs in a publication about X.

The attack in the Cashmiro Pahalgama killed 26 people, mostly tourists from other states, in which more mortal attack is the valley from the pulwama strike in 2019.

Modi, who argued in Jeddah on Tuesday, Bilateral Hero speaks with the Saudi heir prince Mohammed Bin Salman and co -presided by the Strategic Association Council, where both leaders condemned the terrorist attack and reaffirmed.

The two parties created two new ministerial committees, including one in defense, and agreed to collaborate in the establishment of two refineries in India.

The prime minister jumped an official organized dinner and decided to shorten his visit and return home on Tuesday night.
