Consumer Electronics and Electrical Gugard Industries Ltd is aimed at two digit growth in BLDC fans in the next three years, given the growth rate in this segment.

The BLDC fans market size is estimated at ₹ 3,000 million rupees, with a CAG or 20-25 percent, and V-Guard currently has an action or 6-7 percent, said Mithun Chittilappilly, managing director.

Talking with Business line Apart from the launch of the company’s new BLDC roof fans, he mentioned that V-Guard is a late participant in this category, but has achieved remarkable progress in the last 10 years. “Our goal is to become one of the 3-4 main brands in the coming years,” he added.

In addition to the production facilities in Roorkee, the new manufacturing installation for BLDC fans in Telangana is expected to be operational in April 2026, with a production capacity or 2 Lakh fans. The company has invested ₹ 60-70 million rupees, excluding land and construction costs, he said.

According to Chittilappilly, there is a change of consumer towards BLDC fans, with Kerala, Maharashtra and Gujarat that adopt them quickly.

The launch of Airwiz BLDC fans marks a significant milestone on the company’s trip towards the construction of more efficient housing for consumers. With the increase in consumer awareness around sustainability and energy saving, BLDC technology is not only the future, it is the need for the time, he said.

When asked about the market, he mentioned that it has been a general slowdown, which resulted in a greater purchase based on need. However, it is setting your hopes in the new rules of exemption from the Income Tax, which would lead to an increase in available income, which increases consumption and benefits companies.
