The Trump administration has made substantial cuts to HHS, reducing its workforce through the FDA, CDCs, as well as medical research funds. Medicaid could be in danger for millions of people, depending on how budget negotiations of Congress develop. Ask questions about the government’s strategy for the rest of the HHS. What are the government’s plans to advance innovation and technological interoperability of health? To address these and other questions, the Medcity Invest conference has added Stephen Konya, chief, innovation and strategic associations, ASTP, the federal entity that coordinates the efforts of IT of health and promotes the exchange of health information throughout the country.
Konya will participate in a talk in the city style at the conference, scheduled for May 20 to 21 at the Willis Tower in Chicago. It will discuss different approaches and levers implemented to support the innovation and role of public-private associations.
Konya has a great experience in health technology. It serves as the main link with the Office of Science and Technology Policy of the White House and the Invest community and external medical care investors. He currently leads the Digital Health Innovation Working Group under the Federal Coordination of IT of Health, a collaboration community between innovation representatives agencies of another 40 federal agencies.

He previously served as the main leader of the Federal Government and co -founder of Cancerx, and has federal Ledher projects, including the HHS Pandem X Innovation Accelerator, the National Health Ti Playbook, the ONC Patele Atthaok for the supplier initiative (FAST).
In addition to Konya, the conference will include discussion panels on AI in medical care, the strategic plans of Health Systems and the Startups of Medical Care and Spotlight Life Sciences as part of the Pitch Perfect contest.
