2025 Boston Marathon winners: Who won the men’s and women’s races

The Boston 2025 marathon was launched at 9:06 am et and the first winner has crossed the finish line in Boylston Street, near Copley Square. The Swiss wheelchair corridor Marcel Hug was the first person to finish, since he claimed his eighth Marathon title of Boston. The race ended with a time or 1:21:34.

This victory marked his third consecutive victory and bring him a little more to Ernst of the ten record titles of Dyk. He finished a couple of minutes after wave 2 of the runners began. Waves 3 and 4 had not only started their races when Hug crossed the finish line.

The first American was also the second athlete of the day to cross the finish line. Daniel Romonchuk finished second with a time or 1:25:58. This marked his third consecutive finalist behind Hug. Romonchuk won the division of male wheelchairs in 2022 and 2019.

The first woman to cross the finish line was the American Susannah Scaroni. She claimed her second three -year victory, winning the female wheelchair race at 1:35:20.
