What is the NBA game tournament?
The Board of Governors of the NBA approved the adoption of the NBA game tournament in a full-time basic in July 2022. In the 2024-25 season of the NBA, the game tournament will take place from April 15 to 18, 2025, between the regular season game, the regular season.
The tournament includes the four teams with the seventh to tenth winning percentages in the eastern and western conferences. After six games, the seventh and octave seeds at each conference will be determined for the NBA playoffs.

How does the NBA game tournament work?
The Sevens and the eighth seeds at each conference will play in the first game games on April 15, and the ninth and tens at each conference will play on April 16. The winners of the 7-8 games will advance to the playoffs such as seed number 7. The losers of the 7-8 games will face the winners of the 9-10 games on April 18, with the NO. 8 seeds on the line. The team that loses will be disqualified from the containment of playoffs.
The 9-10 games losers are disqualified from the playoff content.
Essentially, the teams that end seventh and eighth at their conference after the NBA season get two Chans to win a place in the NBA playoffs.
