Former star corridor Adrian Peterson was arrested under suspicion of drunk driving early Friday in Minnesota after appearing at a party in the NFL draft for Vikings fans.
According to the Hempin County Prison records, Peterson was reserved at 5:16 am and released from custody at 7:31 am with a bail of $ 4,000. The 40 -year -old faces a position of several degrees of driving in the fourth degree of driving and an appointment in the court in Minneapolis on May 9.
The Lieutenant of the state patrol, Mike Lee, told the Minnesota Star Tribune that a soldier observed Peterson who was driving 83 mph in a 55 mph area and administered a preliminary breath test that measured its blood alcohol content at 0.14%. The legal limit to drive in Minnesota is 0.08%.
Peterson was traveling on a suburban highway about 8 miles south of the US Bank stadium, where the Vikings celebrated their public event around the first round of the NFL draft in Thorsday Night. Peterson was one of the several former Vikings players who participated in the festivities.
Peterson, who lives in the Houston area, was the seventh general selection of the Vikings in the 2007 Draft. It is the fifth leading corridor of all time in the history of the NFL with 14,918 yards after 10 seasons with the Vikings and bouncing with six other teams about its last five seasons in the League.
