Alas Pilipinas at AVC Men’s Nations Cup in Bahrain

Manila, the Philippines – after an end of the Women’s Historical Silver Medal of Pilipinas, men take their turn in the AVC volleyball cup, which will take place in Bahrain.

Men open their campaign in the continental championship on Tuesday.

The team hopes to continue its winning forms after sweeping in the three -day invitations.

The AVC Nations Cup is also part of the accumulation of wings men for the World Volleyball Championship FIVB Men in September.

The tournament kicks off June 17–24 in Manama, Bahrain—marking the first edition under the rebranded AVC Nations Cup (formerly Challenge Cup). The champion will qualify for the 2026 Asian Men’s Championship and earn valuable FIVB ranking points

  • Placed in Pool C, they face Pakistan (world #46) and Chinese Taipei (world #45). Only the top two teams from each pool move on to the quarterfinals
