Nikola Jokic will be forced to face face to face with their greatest love when the Denver Nuggets visit the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday in Intuit Dome: Horses. Specifically, toy horse heads.
The clippers cool their fans in “The Wall” in Intuit Dome Head Hats made of cloth to wear when Jokic takes free throws. Jokic, the Nuggets star center, is famous for his love for horses.
The clippers tied their first round series with the Nuggets on Monday with a 105-102 victory in Ball Arena in Denver. The Nuggets won the first game of the 112-100 series. Both games have been decided by a possession.
Jokic has averaged 27.5 points, 11 assists, 10 rebounds and 3.0 robberies per game in the postseason so far. He ended up as a runner-up in MVP’s career this season at Oklahoma City Thunder Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Jokic has won the NBA MVP award three times.
