Doriane Pin has a clear goal for the F1 Academy Saudi Arabian Grand Prix

The debut of the F1 Academy of Doriane Pin, in the Gran Abia Saudi prize of 2024, was an absolutely dominant performance.

To the second checkered flag.

She assured the pole position for both races in the qualification for more than half a second on the Abbi strip, achieved a victory of lights to the part in the first race, and the checkered flag in the second.

But a lack of communication with his team saw Pin take the checkered flag twice at the speed of the races. After an investigation, and the podium celebration pin was evaluated a penalty for the infraction, which became a 20 -second penalty. That dropped her to P9 and promoted the victory strip.

Now Pin goes to Jeddah for the Grandbia of Saudi Arabia this weekend, the second of the 2025 season of the F1 Academy, and the pilot backed by Mercedes has a clear objective in mind: the qualification to the front.

“We had a good strategy in Shanghai, it was even a commitment on Saturday,” Pin told the official website of the F1 Academy. “Jeddah will be different, there is a little less wear in the tires, since it is a street track. We will see in the qualification, but the goal is to put together everything in Quali and be in the front row.”

After having run in the Jeddah Corniche circuit, Pin has some experience in the complicated street course. But she knows that she will have to be in front if Shey intervenes with the bank as many points as possible.

“The key point of the weekend is always the qualification, especially on a street track in race 2, where you score (the greatest amount) of points, you want to start the front. That is the main objective, being competitive in Quali to be in front for race 2,” he stood up.

“My target This weekend is to score as many points as possible, but obvialy doing pole and the win, specially in racing 2 for the points. Also, to keep working on myself and improving every time i jump in the reverse and to work on work on work on work on work on work on work on work on work on work on work on work on Work on work on work on work on work on work on work on work on work on work on work on work on work on work on work on work on work on work on work on work on work, and to work.

Something more than PIN is sailing this season is the reverse grid format, which F1 Academy Instituted for the first race of each weekend, to promote opportunities for drivers throughout the field. The pilots who describe in the first eight their positions were invested for the first race, so that the driver who qualifies eighth will begin in advance, while the driver who takes the position of the pole begins in P8.

That is especially complicated in Jeddah, where supervision reaches a premium.

“The biggest challenge we are going to face is the inverse network,” Pin described. “It is something new this year, so it is a new challenge for all, but especially for the last eight where it is invested. Jeddah is not as easy as Shanghai for the advanced ones, so we have to be intelligent and climb.”

Even so, thanks to the results in the PIN of the China Grand Prix they enter this weekend at the top of the classification of the F1 Academy pilots championship, with a five -point advantage over Maya Weug for your victory in the second race in Shanghai, where the big points are delivered.

Pin wants to maintain the impulse, with “good results” in Saudi Arabia.

“Being at the top of the driver classification is excellent,” added the Mercedes controller. “We made a very good start of the season in Shanghai and I want to continue in that direction. Jeddah was very strong last year and I think we can do it again.

“We were working hard for three days of testing and I am sure that we are ready for the race weekend. I am looking forward to it and I hope we are going to bring good results to the team.”
