As the 2025 NFL draft approached, rumors begged that the Jacksonville Jaguars were involved in a trade near the top of the draft joint. The speculation grew that the Jaguars were going to trade outside the 5th place, allowing a team to reach No. 5 to write the Boise State State Jeanty corridor.
The jaguars have changed outside number 5
But in a different direction.
Instead of trade, Jacksonville approaches. The Jaguars and the new general manager James Gladstone have the tasks a great swing, which move to No. 2 in the 2025 NFL draft in an agreement with the Cleveland Browns.
The player who is probably directed? Colorado WR/CB Travis Hunter Jr.
ESPN sources:
Brown is exchanging General Selection No. 2, a fourth round selection (No. 104) and a selection of sixth round (No. 200) to the Jaguars.

UPDATE: The Jaguars made the bidirectional stand out their choice in number 2. According to the privileged information of ESPN NFL Adam Schefter, the Jaguars are expected to play Hunter on both sides of football:
Jaguar is expected to play his first -round draft selection Travis Hunter in offensive and defense. They will incorporate it by giving it a strong dose of the open receiver position while playing it in their most natural position in defense. Two positions for pick No. 2.

The rumors of such movement appeared at the end of Thursday afternoon, with Ian Raport of the NFL network highlighting an agreement that the Browns have completed earlier in the day, an exchange of late round selection with the Houston Texans:
Immediately, the points were connected:
If the jaguars go up to 2 here, suppose it is for Travis Hunter. And if the Browns return to 5, they would remain in front of the raiders and jets to fill their need for AT. Cleveland did not have a 5 before dealing with Houston, so it could be assigned to being a return in an exchange. https://t.co/a6qz6wvlkt

Then hours later, Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com This report floated:
#Browns It is believed that they have something that cooks in number 2, says Source. The teams are calling. They are listening. Correa in.

Now, trade has happened.
While we expect the confirmation that the Jaguar are writing to Hunter, it would be to attach that Jacksonville’s new GM is not wasting at any time.
As for who could be looking when they are on the clock in the no. 5, watch Michigan Mason Graham’s defensive Tackle.
And they are also in a position to address the field marshal position in the draft next year, with a couple of first round selections.
