The PGA Tour is in the middle of the first event after the masters of the season, since the RBC Heritage is underway, with an incredible classification table through the refrigerator by the way, and as it is one of the exclusive events of the year in which the field is quite robust.
Notably absent from the group’s thought was the winner of the Masters in Rory Mcilroy. Certainly it is understandable to want the week after Augusta and given the chaotic nature with which Rory won the most coveted golf prize, the final stage of his Grand Slam career, makes even more sense to him.
But time continues and also the PGA Tour season. Next week will bring Zurich’s annual classic, which presents PGA Tour players, which join in duos. Mcilroy and his Irish companion Shane Lowry won the event last year and will defend their title again.

This marks the first time that Rory Mcilroy will play professional golf as a master’s champion. It is still crazy to think, but it is our reality.
While it is difficult to say that Rory needs to maintain his sharp game, the PGA championship is now official less than months and would certainly help keep things marked. Many have noticed since Rory put on his green jacket like the PGA championship in a course that Rory has had extreme success in Quail Hollow … Maybe all the stars align in favor of him.
Mcilroy and Lowry won in New Orleans last year as mentioned, but Mcilroy himself has already won several times this season. Rory was victorious in the AT&T in Pebble Peach and the players before winning the masters. It is privileged and another victory in New Orleans would only add it.
