If there is a team that has all the flexibility that could be desired, they are the Vakings of Minnesota. They went to any hole in their list in free agency, adding veterans along the offensive and defensive lines.
The Vikings also exceeded all the expectations last season, with the field marshal Sam Darnold at the head to a campaign of 14 wins and a postseason post. They have a talented list from top to bottom that is an aid for one of the best training tandems of the league in chief coach Kevin O’Connell and defensive coordinator Brian Flores.
But just because the Vikings do not have pressing needs, that does not mean that they do not have a large question sign. Minnesota will go in the way in which the field marshal JJ McCarthy goes. He lost his entire rookie season due to an injury, which also withdrew his development in favor of rehabilitation. Now, with McCarthy ready to start the season, the Kevin O’Connell Quarterback School will be on full exhibition.
The best way to help McCarthy is to solidify the rest of the list, which the Vikings can do in the Draft, only with the limited number of selections they have.
Without further ado, here is a complete draft of seven rounds for the Vikings.
I think Minnesota is a great candidate for an exchange to obtain more selections, but the problem is to find a commercial partner. The Vikings sit under the steelers in the first round, which makes it more difficult to execute an exchange with a field marshal reissue team. How valuable is the first selection of Minnesota to another club? That is the most important question here.
If the Vikings stop, they could use reinforcements throughout the subsequent level of defense. They are thin in high school, especially with Harrison Smith approaching at the end of their career. Safety and corner are probable its greatest needs today and in the coming years. Starks is one of the best safety in the class and can rotate this year while developing for the future.
This is not a necessity with Christian Darrisaw and Brian O’Neill as the containers in the offensive line, but it could be a son of necessity. In addition, Darisaw is causing an injury, and it never hurts to have an insurance policy. In Sausage, Milum is a Tackle Swing. In the best case, you can take care of anywhere in rigging, after having played both at the university. His shortest arms also have many projecting him as a guard at the NFL level, so Milum could be essentially safe where Vikings need it.
Minnesota went to the interior rotation along the defensive line in the free agency, signing Bothhan Allen and Javon Hargrave, but both players are not spring chickens. The interior of any way thrives in a rotation, especially with the players who have flexibility of position. This is a strong defensive line class, and is a complete content to obtain a solid rotation player in the fifth round.
I executed multiple draft simulations and every time, somehow, Shegh was still available in this choice. The increase in field marshal in the draft, even if it is only day 3 to day 2, which I think could happen. But if he is there when the Vikings make their last selection, it would not be a bad idea to stab in the position. The only QB Bears McCarthy on the Minnesota list is Brett Rypien. I am not completely sure that the Vikings feel comfortable with Rypien as the only backup, and unpleasant veteran options are limited.
