We’ve rounded up the best laptop deals in the UK right now to help you grab a portable PC or MacBook at a great price. If it’s time for an upgrade, you’ll be happy to learn that some of the best laptops of 2025 won’t break the bank.

When shopping around for a new laptop, it’s important to know how to spot a good budget option. There are plenty of cheap, obscure brands floating around on Amazon that you should avoid. Instead, stick to trusted names to ensure you’re buying a laptop you can rely on, with customer support should anything go wrong. We only include laptops we’ve tested and from brands we trust.

So, which laptop should you buy? From lightweight notebooks to two-in-one tablets and dedicated gaming setups, we’ve scoured the internet for the best laptop deals in the country.

The best laptop deals for May 2025 in the UK are:

  • Lenovo Yoga Slim 6: Was £799, now £499, Currys.co.uk
  • Asus Vivobook 15: Was £329.99, now £279, Amazon.co.uk
  • MSI Prestige 13 AI Evo: Was £1,299, now £899, Currys.co.uk
  • Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3: Was £179.99, now £169, Amazon.co.uk
  • MacBook Air (M4, 2025): Was £999, now £899, Amazon.co.uk
  • MacBook Pro (M4, 2024): Was £1,599, now £1,429.97, Amazon.co.uk

Here’s a £300 saving on the excellent Yoga Slim 6 at Currys, which features a pin-sharp 2.2K display and a decently fast Intel Core i5 chip with 8GB of RAM. The aluminium chassis is lightweight at 1.3kg and feels reassuringly sturdy, while HDMI 2.1 port lets you expand your workspace to a second monitor.

This deal on the Vivobook 15 is exclusive to Amazon Prime members and shaves £50 off the price of the mid-range, 15.6in Windows laptop. Powered by the 7th generation AMD Ryzen 3 processor and 8GB of RAM, and with a 512GB SSD for storage, it offers more than enough performance for most tasks.

The Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Edge is one of a new generation of Microsoft-endorsed devices running on a fast Snapdragon processor. Designed to tackle everyday workloads, you get a lot of value at this price, with enough performance for most tasks, a decent FullHD display and all-day battery life.

The capable MSI Prestige 13 AI Evo runs on the powerful Intel Core Ultra 9 288V chip with a massive 32GB of RAM, making it ideal for the most processor-intensive workloads such as high-resolution video editing. A premium magnesium-alloy chassis keeps the weight down – the laptop weighs less than a kilo – while the Quad HD OLED display offers brilliant vibrancy and contrast. There’s £400 off at Currys right now.

A Chromebook designed by trusted brand Asus, this basic model runs on the lightweight Chrome operating system, meaning it can’t run regular Windows software but boots up almost instantly and doesn’t get bogged down in unnecessary software as time goes on. The Intel i3 processor is powerful enough to handle plenty of open apps, while the slim design and large 14in display is spacious enough for work and watching entertainment on the go.

The entry-level Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 is the cheapest Windows laptop we’d recommend, and right now there’s an extra £10 off at Amazon. Made by a trusted brand, it’s about as simple as laptops get and ideal for basic tasks like web browsing, firing off emails and working in Microsoft Office. It features a webcam and a card reader for expanding its meagre 128GB of built-in storage.
