Update: The Democrat of Tallahassee reports that a total of six people were injured in the shooting of the state of Florida, one of them critical.

At least one person is in custody after a shooting was reported on the campus of the Florida State University (FSU) in Tallahassee on Thursday around noon.
WSVN reported that the suspect was arrested around 1 pm
At least four people were injured in the incident, but the cause and scope of their injuries is not known.
CNN said the shooting occurred near the school’s union and, therefore, the police escorted the students outside the building with their hands in the air.
Governor Ron Desantis (R) used a position to X to say: “Our prayers are with our FSU family and the state police are actively responding.”
