Bill Maher spent time in his program this week focusing on Easter Sunday, mixing his characteristic political blows and his seasonal humor, much of President Trump and his administration. One or its most scathing jokes? Hi, he joked that Trump is watching Easter “enclosing the guys called Jesus.”
(That is “Jesus” with the Spanish pronunciation: an acute excavation in Trump’s immigration policies).
When opening his monologue with a wink to Good Friday, Maher said: “It is Good Friday, and this is the day Jesus died for all our sins. So you know what? Does it have fun. Everything is paid. You are playing with the money from the house.”
Maher also mentioned the fact that this week was a fiscal week. Attiting that to his criticisms of the Efficiency Department of the Government of the Era of Trump, he said: “One of the things Dege has done, is a child of destroyed to the IRS. Oh, you know, no. Do not let the fiscal tricks do not worry about being audited?
Returning to Easter, Maher Joked About The Rising Cost of Eggs: “I Don’t Want To Say The Economy Is Going Into The Sh *** ER, But People Are Dying, Dying – Yeah, They’re Dying, But Dying Potatoes For Easter Legatoes For This Becauses Becales Becouses Becauses Becauses Becauses Becauses Becauses Becauses Becauses Because the causes of the causes of the causes.
Hey, did not stop there, joining global problems and domestic dysfunction. “So yes, we are dying of potatoes. People are dying abroad, we cut help abroad. They say … we are going to a recession, we have a constitutional crisis. Today, Melania had a jacket that said that I cared:” It’s Easter. It is Easter on Sunday. Are you excited about that? [calendar]The day we celebrate the resurrected Jesus of the dead. Or, as Elon Musk sees, a scheme elaborated to disappoint Social Security. “
Maher turned with another jab to Trump: “Very large in the White House. Trump is honoring the day by enclosing the guys called Jesus,” and added that Trump had also “forgiven Poncius Pilate.”
Changing his approach to the vice president, Maher made fun of the recently conversion of JD Vance to Catholicism, pointing out: “JD Vance, our vice president, is in Rome. You know, it’s a conversion, a recent convert to Catholicism. That says, but I can run because hey heard Priests like small punctures,” Maher said. “JD is there. Hey. Hey, to see the Pope. He is not sure that he is gone, but he would like to enter there to convince that Jesus was completely wrong to be Nicigners.”
