Larry David Trashes Bill Maher Visiting Trump in ‘My Dinner with Adolf’ NYT Op-Ed

In a satirical opinion article for the New York Times, Titled “My Cena With Adolf”, David describes a fantasy scenario of him meeting with Adolf Hitler and other Nazi leaders for a friendly and cordial dinner to say that Maher had been deceived. He never mentions Maher or Trump by name.

David begins to write that “nobody who knew encouraged me to go” to visit Hitler after being critical of the despot from the beginning. David also characterizes Maher’s desire to talk to more people who lean to the right with an essential hug to the Nazis.

Two weeks later, I found Myelf on the front steps of the former Foreign Ministry and took me to an opulent living room, where some of Führer’s most vocal followers had gathered: Himmler, Göring, Leni Riefenstahl and the Duke of Windsii. We talked about some of the beautiful art on the walls that had leg tasks of the houses of the Jews. But our conversation ended abruptly when we listened to strong steps around the hall. All rigid when Hitler entered the room.

I wore a tanned suit with a swastika bracelet and gave me an enthusiastic greeting that took me by surprise. Frankly, it was a warmer greeting than normally from my parents, and was accompanied by a weak on my back. I found the whole matter quite weighing. I joked that I was surprised to see him in a tanned suit because hey, he would perceive himself as a non-Führer. That had endangered endless, and I realized that Laudh had never seen him before. Suddenly it seemed so human.

The fictitious dinner described by David includes rude jokes about Jews murders and other atrocities. David concludes with his fictitious self that gives Hitler a “Sieg Heil” before saying: “Atheghe does not agree on many issues, it does not mean that we have to hate each Eather.”

Bill Maher has not yet responded to Larry David’s piece, but said Trump looked like a kind and measure of the door with the president.

“It is much more aware of what is in public. Look, I understand, no matter who is at a private dinner with a comedian, it is important who is on the world stage,” Maher said last Friday. “I am simply giving it positive that the person exists, because each of the days was not licking by him, I swear for God, absent, at least tonight with this guy.”
