JD Vance shared an emotional tribute to Pope Francis after the death of the 88 -year -old pontiff, which occurred after the two with Easter Sunday.
“I learned about the death of Pope Francis. My heart is with the millions of Christians around the world who loved him,” Vance wrote in X.
“I was happy to see him yesterday, although he was obviously very sick. But I will always remember him for the homily below that he gave in the first days of Covid. It was really enough.
The death of the Pope, after a prolonged battle with double pneumonia, occurs less than a day after having what the Vatican described as a “lyrics” with Vance, a Catholic convert since 2019.
