A-World and World Leaders are equally crying to Pope Francis following his death.

The head of the Catholic Church, whose real name was Jorge Mario Bergoglio, died Monday morning after a battle of months with pneumonia, according to the Vatican.

“I was happy to see him yesterday, I thought he was obviously very sick,” tweeted the 40 -year -old on Monday. “May God rest his soul.”

“My wife and I were very deeply sad to learn about the death of Pope Francis,” wrote the 76 -year -old monarch. “However, our heavy hearts have been a bit relieved to know that their holiness could share a Easter greeting.

“The queen and I remember with particular affection our meetings with her holiness over the years and we were very moved to have been able to visit it at the beginning of the month,” he continued.

Whoopi Goldberg told Francis to “sail” with his “love for humanity and laugh” in his own tribute to Instagram.
