LANEZ, whose legal name is Daytar Peterson, was attacked in a housing unit in the Correctional Institution of California in Tehamhapi, around 7:20 am, said Pedro Calderón Michel, spokesman for the State’s corrections and rehabilitation department.
Michel did not specify how Lanez was attacked, but several points of sale reported that he was stabbed.
The personnel immediately gave Lanez Medical Aid and called 911, and it was tasks for an external hospital, Michel said. The Prison Investigation Unit and the Kern County District Prosecutor’s Office are investigating, he said.
In December 2022, Lanez was convicted of three serious crimes: assault with a semi -automatic firearm; Have a firearm loaded and recorded in a vehicle and dictate a firearm with serious negligence.
Megan, whose legal name is Megan Pete, testified the duration of the trial that in July 2020, after they left a party at Kylie Jenner’s house in Hollywood Hills, Lanez shot the gun to the back of his feet and served who to dance.
A judge rejected a motion for a new trial of Lanez’s lawyers, who appeal their conviction. They did not respond immediately to a request for comments.
Megan recently claimed that Lanez was harassing her from the prison through substitutes, and in January a judge issued a protection order until 2030 that ordered her to stop any other contact.
