The Thailand Special Research Department (DSI) arrested Zhang Chuanling, an executive of a corporation called China Railway Number 10 Ltd., as part of a wide research on the collapse of a duration of crack cracks.

The 33 -story administrative building was the Only structure a collapse In Bangkok Duration, the earthquake of magnitude 7.7 that hit Myanmar and Thailand on March 28. The building, which was still under construction, fell in a matter of minutes, killing at least 47 people immediately and caught dozen debris. Forty -seven construction workers remain without accounting at the time of publication.

Relationships between Thailand and China tightened immediately due to the collapse of skyscrapers, which was supposed to be a earthquake resistant project. Thai police arrested four Chinese citizens who tried to enter the REDED building and secure debris documents two days after collapse. The Thai government said that Chinese staff would not be allowed to enter the disaster site.

Thai researchers have focused their attention on two companies, China Railway number 10 and Xin Ke Yuan Steel. The men arrested for taking documents from the shattered building were later identified as contractors working for China Railroad number 10.

Thai industry minister Akanat promises Tuesday damned Xin Ke Yuan Steel to fail in product quality tests and for trying to blame that failure in the “lower quality tools” used in the tests.

The Chinese company also said that none of its steel was used in the building that collapsed, a claim that Akanat promised to investigate thoroughly.

“We have collected all the data and key evidence (computers, documents and servers) and we hope to discover several crucial evidence,” said the Minister of Industry.

Meanwhile, the DSI, which is essentially the version of Thailand of the FBI – arrested Zhang and is looking for three executives who also worked for China Railroad number 10, a subsidiary of the China Railway Engineering Corporation of state property.

China Railway number 10 formed a joint company with Italian Thai Development PLCA Thai company that manages jobs throughout Southeast Asia. The company is called that because its co -founder in 1958 was an Italian businessman.

The law in Thailand stipulates that foreign companies cannot have more than 49 percent participation in a joint company, so foreign companies frequently seek a Thai partner to maintain the majority participation required in an Italian project.

The researchers accused that this was the case of the joint company to build the sentenced office building, accusing the three Thai executives of maintaining their shares on behalf of Chinese investors as “nominated shareholders” to avoid the Foreign Business Law of Thailand of 1999.

“Separately, the Thailand Anti -Corruption Organization (ACT) criticized Prime Minister Paetongtran Shinatra for providing vague and delayed responses after collapse, while urging the prime minister to guarantee transparency in research”, “The” The ” Bangkok post reported Mondays.

Shinatra has ordered an investigation of each project in Thailand linked to the Chinese railway number 10, which has at least one boxes from other buildings under construction.
