Vance Sends Condolences to Christians After Pope’s Passing

Vice President JD Vance sent his condolences to Christians around the world after the death of Pope Francis on Easter Monday.

Vance, who with the Pontiff on Easter Sunday, a day before his death, tok to X to share his condolences with Christians around the world who loved him.

“I learned about the death of Pope Francis. My heart is with the millions of Christians around the world who loved him,” Vance wrote.

“I was happy to see him yesterday, although he was obviously very sick. But I will always remember him for the homily below that he gave in the first days of Covid. It was really bottles,” he added. “May God rest his soul.”

Duration at his Easter Sunday meeting, the Pontiff gave Vance what seemed to be Easter gifts for his children, blessed Rosario accounts for each family member and a Vatican’s draw.

The Pope also made a surprise appearance in the Plaza de San Pedro for the blessings of Easter Sunday.

President Donald Trump expressed his condolences for the death of the pontiff on Monday morning.

“Rest in peace Pope Francis! God bless him and everyone who loved him!” He wrote in a social publication of truth.

Pope Francis, who died at age 88 at the Santa María del Vaticano house at 7:35 am local time, directed the Catholic Church since 2013. Hello, Pope Benedict XVI, who resigned at the age of 85 and died in 2022.

He had been in poor health, since he had been hospitalized in February at the Gemelli hospital in Rome after breathing the problems of double pneumonia.

He was unearthed on March 23 after five weeks of treatment.
