The authorities arrested a migrant from Venezuela for the sixth time in the 13 -month space in the city of Sanctuary Chicago after prosecutors repeatedly withdrew the positions on previous judges.
Edmonds Peraza Cortez, 25, is once again in a cook county jail, this time due to robbery charges. Prosecutors say he approached a 41 -year -old woman, gave him a gun and demanded that he give him money. He supposedly also demanded his cell phone, his wallet and the electric scooter in which he was sitting, according to the WFIN radio.
The Chicago Police Department reported that Cortez was arrested approximately one hour after the 41 -year -old victim was supposedly faced.
Cortez has been arrested six times in the Ventosa city in a period of 13 months. But he was released again and again after the prosecutors dropped most of the cases against him.
According to Fox News, the last ruling occurred only three days after Cortez was released from electronic monitoring after prosecutors dismissed a narcotics position against them.
In addition to that, he is already waiting for an appointment in the court on imprudent conduct positions and possession of a firearm replica.
Cortez’s immigration state has not confirmed the leg.
Garcia is not the only Venezuelan national arrested this month in relation to a crime in the city of Sanctuary. The renowned train, the member of the Aragua gang, Ricardo Gonzales, was arrested in Cobb Condo, Georgia, on Thursday in relation to a triple shooting and double murder in Chicago, according to WLS TV.
Gonzales, who is reputed to be a high -ranking member of the dangerous Venezuelan gang, was sought by the Chicago police for kidnapping, and for probable cause of first degree murder and attempted first -degree murder.
