President Donald Trump responded to the news that former Joe Biden had been diagnosed with prostate cancer and wished him a “rapid and successful recovery.”
“Melania and I saddens us on the recently medical diagnosis of Joe Biden,” Trump said in a publication about Truth Social. “We extend our warmest and better wishes to Jill and the family, and we wish Joe a quick and successful recovery.”
Trump’s post occurs after Biden’s personal office issued a statement revealing that the former president had been diagnosed with prostate cancer with “metastasis to the bones.”
“Last week, President Joe Biden was seen by a new finding of a prostate nodule after experiencing the increase in urinary symptoms,” said the statement. “On Friday, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, characterized by a Gleason score of 9 (grade group 5) with metastasis to bone.”
The statement added that, although Biden prostate cancer represented “a more aggressive form of the disease”, it seemed to be “hormonal that allows effective management.”
“The president and his family are reviewing the treatment options with their doctors,” the statement added.
The diagnosis of Biden cancer occurs after doctors discovered a “small nodule” in the Biden prostate that performed a physical exam.
In response to the diagnosis of Biden cancer, legislators from all over the hall, such as former vice president Kamala Harris (d), Virginia governor Glenn Youngkin (R), Senator Tim Scott (R-SC), and Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) and others, expressed that Keeling Biden and his family are wishing a “complete recovery”.
“Doug and I saddens us or the diagnosis of President Biden’s prostate cancer,” Harris saying In a publication about X. “We maintain it, Dr. Biden, and his whole family in our hearts and the duration of prayers this time. Joe is a fighter, and I know that they face this challenge with the same strength, resistance and leadership. We always have a rapid recovery.”
