RipRip,
The number of deaths reported marks one of the most mortal attacks in the US army in Yemen.
The United States air attacks in the Petrolero Ras Isa de Yemen port have killed at least 38 people in what is one of the most mortal attacks in the country by US forces, report the media affiliated with Houthi.
Al Masirah TV said that strikes in Thorsday also wounded 102 people, citing the country’s Hodeidah Health Office.
The United States Army said strikes are being carried out to cut a fuel source for hutis combatants.
“The objective of these attacks was to degrade the economic source of power of the hutis, which continue to exploit and provide great pain to their compatriots,” said the United States Central Command (Centom) in a publication on social networks.
The Pentagon did not immediately respond to a request for comments on the number of deaths given by the hutis.
The attack is one of the most mortal since the United States launched air attacks against the hutis in its greatest military operation in the Middle East since the president of the United States, Donald Trump Tok, in January.
In March, two days of US attacks killed more than 50 people, Huti officials said.
Ras Isa houses an oil pipe and a port that are “critical and irreplaceable infrastructure” in Yemen, according to the United Nations Development Program and about 70 percent of Yemen imports and 80 percent of humanitarian assistance and AS-Shall.
Washington warned the hutis that the attacks will continue until the armed movement leaves attacks against shipping in the Red Sea.
Since November 2023, the hutis have launched more than 100 attacks against the ships they say are linked to Israel, a campaign they say is in response to the Israel War against Gaza.
